Per the Federal Election Campaign Act, foreign nationals and their agents are banned from participating in US elections.

In June, Kai Newkirk, a candidate for the House of Representatives in Arizona’s 4th district, filed a foreign election interference complaint with Arizona’s Attorney General against Brad Parscale’s Clock Tower X.

Brad Parscale and his company, Clock Tower X are FARA registered Israel agents who receive funding and direction from Israel through an intermediary, “State of Israel via Havas Media Germany GmbH” to propagandize America via digital campaigns encompassing AI, chatbots, texts, and social media. FARA reporting shows Clock Tower X subcontracts majority of its work (on behalf of Israel) to a myriad of companies who are not registered under FARA

In May, Reporting from the Intercept shows Parscale’s Clock Tower X directed $13M from Israel to digital strategy groups such as Convergence Media, Three Tech and Sparkfire Technologies which operates the AI text messages campaign called “Friends for Peace”.

The Responsible Statecraft reported “Friends for Peace” sends Pro-Israel text messages to voters and directed them to a YouTube channel for Allies for Peace. Allies for Peace’s YouTube channel was created in October 2025 by Clock Tower X, Brad Parscale’s FARA registered Israel agent.

Clock Tower X’s June 2026 filing with the Department of Justice’s FARA office lists Allies for Peace and Friends for Peace as part of its Israel propaganda network.

Now, Arizona’s 4th district is receiving the same Pro-Israel text messages from “Friends for Peace” which is operated by SparkFire Technologies, a subcontractor to Clock Tower X under its FARA registered contract with Israel. Arizona’s 4th district has a House of Representatives candidate, Kai Newkirk, who opposes US aid to Israel as well as bills in Congress that would merge Israel’s military with the U.S. In June, Newkirk filed the election interference complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

The Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA), 52 U.S.C. § 30121 (implemented in 11 CFR § 110.20) bans foreign nationals from:

• Making contributions or donations of money or “anything of value.”

• Making expenditures, independent expenditures, or disbursements in connection with any federal, state, or local election.

• Making disbursements for electioneering communications (e.g., certain broadcast, cable, or satellite ads mentioning candidates close to an election).

This explicitly covers paying for or running campaign ads, independent expenditures (ads expressly advocating for or against a candidate), robocalls, text messages, or other paid communications aimed at influencing an election.

Based on the text message exchange, it appears Parscale’s campaign is attempting to skirt the law by promoting Israel rather than discussing the election directly. However, the timing of this campaign in districts with candidates who oppose endless aid to Israel, warrants an investigation. Particularly since in July, Time Magazine reported White House officials said Brad Parscale’s Clock Tower X was behind the coordinated campaign against the Trump Administration’s peace deal with Iran, which Israel fiercely opposes.

So where are the U.S. government enforcement mechanisms on this topic? They are currently nonexistent. In February 2025, then Attorney General Pam Bondi, on her first day, disbanded the Foreign Influence Task Force, the very DOJ office responsible for enforcing FARA. The change specifically limited DOJ prosecutors from criminally charging those involved in public-relations work and policy advocacy on behalf of foreign businesses and nonprofits. This deliberate incapacitation of the enforcement mechanism has given a green light to foreign influence operations like the one operated by Brad Parscale and Clock Tower X.

The campaign targets one professor because she stood with the student protestors. But it’s a clever campaign. It highlights 40,000 H1B Visa holders teaching in universities to rage bait the right. It omits the fact that it’s 40,000 out of 1,400,000 faculty or that majority are teaching in the field of Business, Engineering & Math. No, they only highlight that she’s a drama teacher, insinuating that 40K are like her.

The campaign also claims 72-73% are Indian. Again, to reignite last year’s rage against Indians and H1B. The problem is, the source that cites the 40,000 does not cite place of origin. So this percentage is unverified.

But no matter because the entire campaign’s goal is to target one teacher, Shayoni Mitra, who is Indian.

Not the 40,000 faculty.

Not the claimed 72-73% Indians.

Those numbers were to enrage people.

The target was One Teacher. Because she stood with student protestors against Israel’s genocide.

The campaign calls the protestors, terrorists because they oppose Israel’s genocide and asks the U.S. government to deport her. This is exactly what happened to 1000 students. This is why a lawsuit was filed against the Trump administration and their Israel co-conspirators Betar and Canary Mission.

Americans across the political spectrum view sexual assault as a serious societal problem. Polls show strong majorities believe it is widespread, affecting women, children, and increasingly boys. This sensitivity is justified and outrage and calls for action are appropriate responses to such crimes.

However, this deep emotional trigger can be weaponized for political ends. Leaked Israeli government documents (reported by The Grayzone) after October 7, 2023, revealed a deliberate strategy to highlight rape allegations to garner American support for military actions. In the study, rape consistently ranked as the most effective atrocity narrative in focus groups. Similar dynamics appear in domestic U.S. politics, where allegations of sexual misconduct can rapidly shift public opinion. In the case of the Israel study, what followed was a well organized and funded Israel propaganda campaign alleging Hamas systemic rape of Israelis on October 7th. Over time, human rights groups and news outlets pointed to the lack of evidence and Israel’s role in preventing independent investigations.

Democrats are Highly Sensitive to Sexual Assault Allegations

Research consistently highlights partisan asymmetries:

• Democrats show high sensitivity to sexual misconduct claims regardless of the accused’s party. The MeToo movement originated and gained strongest traction in Democratic circles.

• Republicans exhibit more partisan filtering and are more likely to believe allegations against Democrats and less so against their own.

A Journal of Social and Political Psychology study on responses to allegations against male politicians confirmed this pattern. Democrats responded strongly to claims irrespective of party affiliation, while Republicans showed bias favoring their side. Combined with broad public outrage over rape, this makes sexual assault allegations a potent tool against male Democrat figures.

Racicot’s Politico claims describe a non-consensual encounter in 2021 where Platner allegedly ignored her wishes, raped her, stayed the night, and later failed to acknowledge the assault the next morning. She reportedly told him to leave and never contact her again.

• Earlier NYT Interview (June 2026): In a New York Times piece published just one month earlier, Racicot described the same incident as “reckless and unsettling” but not rape. She characterized her relationship with Platner as on-and-off with positive memories. This shift from “unsettling” to “rape” in a short period raises questions.

• Timing and Public Disclosure: Racicot previously told the NYT she avoided public claims because she “didn’t want to be known as a rape victim.” Yet one month later, she went public in Politico and appeared on CNN hours afterward to discuss it nationally.

• No Criminal Complaint: The alleged incident occurred in 2021. Maine’s statute of limitations for sexual assault allows prosecution up to 20 years later. Racicot remains well within the window but has not filed charges with police. Instead, she chose to litigate in the media.

Politico’s Lack of Evidence and Ommissions

During a Morning Joe segment, host Mika Brzezinski pressed Politico reporter Adam Rank on evidence. Rank acknowledged no police report exists. Corroboration relied on:

• Conversations with Racicot’s therapist in June 2026 (reviewed emails referring to “sexual assault”), therapist declined to comment when asked by Politico.

• Statements from others she confided in after the event (in some cases, years later).

• Messages Racicot described sending to Platner (Instagram DMs) were never produced since she claimed to have deleted them.

Shortly after Politico’s publication, the Washington Post published its version of events. They reported on the night of the allegation, Racicot texted Platner that she needed to get her “glutes massaged”, to which Platner responded he was coming over. This information was omitted by Politico in their reporting. When the Platner campaign asked Politico about the omission, Politico confirmed they were aware of the glute massage texts but they chose to omit it from their reporting.

During the Morning Joe interview, Rank emphasized that Racicot’s story remained consistent across multiple interviews. However, no direct evidence (e.g., recovered DMs confirming non-consent or physical proof) was presented, on the contrary, new reporting shows Politico omitted important context that was contrary to their narrative and Platner denies the allegations. The reporting ultimately rests on “he said, she said” with corroboration from friends and an email sent to her therapist in June 2026.

The Reporters and Their Backgrounds

Across the reporting from NYT, Politico and CNN, there is a curiously high level of career overlap amongst the reporters and publications and a high degree of Pro-Israel affiliation and reporting.

June 4, 2026 – The New York Times: The first major story, headlined “Several Women Who Dated Graham Platner Recall ‘Unsettling’ Behavior,” was written by national political reporters Katie Glueck and Lisa Lerer. It detailed accounts from women who described Platner as sometimes charming but also volatile, demeaning, or emotionally abusive in past relationships. Platner acknowledged past struggles with PTSD, depression, and drinking but denied reflecting his current character.

• Katie Glueck (NYT) has covered national Democratic politics for over a decade, previously working at Politico. During her time at Northwestern University, she served as co-president of the Students for Israel chapter, which received an AIPAC “Activist of the Year” award in 2009.

• Lisa Lerer (NYT) is a veteran national political correspondent who joined the Times in 2018. She also previously worked at Politico. Her reporting shows a high focus on campaigns related to candidates who are critical of Israel where she perpetuates fears of antisemitism if said candidates are elected. She has written quite a few articles with this narrative directed at Zohran Mamdani. She has also written many articles critical of Platner.

3PM, July 6, 2026 – Politico: An exclusive Politico report by Jessica Piper and Adam Wren escalated the allegations. It featured Jenny Racicot, a Maine woman who alleged that Platner sexually assaulted her in late 2021 during an on-and-off relationship. Racicot described him entering her home uninvited while intoxicated and forcing sex despite her objections. Platner and his campaign strongly denied the claims as “categorically untrue” and suggested political motivation.

• Adam Wren (Politico) is a senior national politics correspondent and Playbook contributor. He has written extensively on the intersection of religion, politics, and the Jewish community, as well as how foreign policy debates intersect with domestic elections. He consistently writes articles attacking candidates who are critical of Israel such as Graham Platner, Abdul El-Sayed and Zohran Mamdani, scrutinizing associations, insinuating antisemitism, and alleging rape with questionable evidence and omitting key details.

• Jessica Piper (Politico) serves as a senior data reporter focusing on elections, campaign finance, and data-driven political analysis. Her coverage overlaps significantly with Adam Wren’s on Graham Platner (Maine Democratic Senate candidate, progressive critical of Israel/AIPAC with associated controversies like a Nazi-symbol tattoo and past online posts). She has written or co-written numerous pieces highlighting scandals, voter concerns, establishment reluctance, and campaign damage, often accelerating the narrative of Platner’s liabilities and eventual collapse/drop-out.

4PM, July 6, 2026 – CNN: Jake Tapper conducted an exclusive extended interview with Jenny Racicot, in which she reiterated her allegations in detail. This significantly amplified the Politico story to a national television audience.

• Jake Tapper (CNN) has faced criticism from multiple outlets for what they describe as a pro-Israel tilt in post-October 2023 coverage, including limiting Palestinian voices on Sunday programming and framing of protests. In September 2024, Tapper and colleague Dana Bash amplified false claims that Rep. Rashida Tlaib had made antisemitic remarks against Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Tlaib had criticized Nessel’s office for what she called possible bias in handling pro-Palestinian campus cases. Tlaib did not reference Nessel’s Jewish identity. Nessel accused Tlaib of antisemitism. The reporter of the article in question quickly took to social media and published an article clarifying Tlaib never mentioned religion. Critics, including The Intercept, The Guardian, and commentator Katie Halper, described the episode as a false smear that was rapidly picked up by Tapper, Bash, the ADL, and others.

The Zionist Institutions Behind the Reporting

A July 2025 Mondoweiss investigation outlines the New York Times’ coverage of Israel and Gaza reflects institutional commitment to Zionism, citing close ties among some 20 editors and staff covering Israel-Palestine, including prior Israeli military service and family connections to Israeli institutions. While the piece focused primarily on Jerusalem correspondents rather than Glueck or Lerer, it framed these connections as shaping broader institutional priorities.

At Politico, parent company Axel Springer maintains corporate “Essentials” that include explicit support for “the right of existence of the State of Israel” and opposition to antisemitism. In a 2025 report by Truthout, CEO Mathias Döpfner reportedly told staff that disagreement with these core values made continued employment incompatible and suggested employees seek work elsewhere if they could not personally align.

CNN, the network that features Jake Tapper’s The Lead, has a long history of Israel bias. During the early months of the Gaza genocide, CNN staff reported pro-Israel slant that amounts to journalistic malpractice.

The rapid escalation of sexual assault allegations against Graham Platner from the New York Times to Politico and CNN within weeks of his primary victory, illustrates how powerful emotional triggers around rape can be strategically deployed in high-stakes politics. While sexual assault is a grave issue that demands serious attention, the inconsistencies in Jenny Racicot’s account, the absence of a police report or contemporaneous evidence, the convenient omissions in Politico’s reporting, and the unusually tight timeline all warrant far greater scrutiny than they have received.

These red flags are compounded by the clear pattern of involvement from journalists with strong pro-Israel affiliations and institutional outlets that have shown consistent bias against candidates critical of Israel particularly at a time when Israel is pushing to pass a myriad of bills that would further merge its military with the U.S., guaranteeing endless funding, advanced technology, and intelligence access. In an era when public sensitivity to such allegations is appropriately high (especially among Democrats) this case underscores the urgent need for rigorous skepticism, independent verification, and resistance to media-driven narratives that appear crafted for political destruction rather than truth-seeking.

Did you know most of the anti-genocide candidates who won primaries were people who were targeted by the Zionist machine?

Most of the candidates who won Democratic primaries while opposing the genocide in Gaza share a striking history of personal and professional backlash tied to their activism. Outlets across the spectrum, from the Guardian and New York Times to Politico, Al Jazeera, the Forward, and Mother Jones, noted these victories as part of a progressive wave driven by outrage over Gaza. While some coverage and social media focused on smears involving the Democratic Socialists of America or unfounded fears of other ideologies, they overlooked a clear commonality: these candidates took firm stands against the genocide and U.S. military aid to Israel, and they faced protests, job losses, arrests, scrutiny, and other repercussions linked to opposing Israel’s genocide in Gaza. When their lawmakers failed to uphold laws protecting free speech and banning weapons sales to human rights violators, these candidates chose to unseat them.

As someone who has closely followed the Pro-Israel persecution of anti-genocide student protestors and activists since October 2023, this comeback gives me great hope.

Melat Kiros won the June 30, 2026, Democratic primary for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District in deep-blue Denver, defeating long-serving incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette. She has called for ending the genocide in Palestine and rejecting AIPAC-style funding. She was previously fired from a law firm role connected to her public criticism of law firms’ responses to October 7, 2023, and their stances on Israel and Palestine.

Adam Hamawy won the June 2, 2026, Democratic primary for New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District. A former U.S. Army combat surgeon in Iraq who helped save Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s life, he volunteered as a trauma surgeon in Gaza in 2024–2025 treating injuries from the conflict and worked in disaster zones including post-9/11 New York, Bosnia, Haiti, and Syria. After much frustration at the lack of interest from lawmakers to address the Gaza genocide, he ran for office. He has called for ending U.S. arms sales to Israel and his primary victory in New Jersey makes him the only US Congress member with firsthand experience of Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza.

Darializa Avila Chevalier won the June 23, 2026, Democratic primary for New York’s 13th Congressional District, defeating incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat. She has been outspoken on Palestinian rights, participated in protests, and criticized Israel policy and AIPAC ties. She has a background as an activist who faced targeting for protesting the genocide in Gaza. She was at the heart of the Pro-Israel persecution of student protestors to include unjustified deportation attempts.

Claire Valdez won the June 23, 2026, Democratic primary for New York’s 7th Congressional District, an open seat. She has consistently called Israel’s actions in Gaza a genocide, advocated for Palestinian liberation and an arms embargo, and criticized AIPAC ties. She was arrested while protesting the genocide in Gaza.

Amir Makled won the Democratic nomination for a seat on the University of Michigan Board of Regents via the April 2026 state party convention, defeating incumbent Jordan Acker. As a civil rights attorney, he represented pro-Palestine students and alumni who encountered disciplinary actions and free-speech violations initiated by the Michigan Board of Regents (with deep ties to Pro-Israel), including the incumbent he defeated, Jordan Acker.

Brad Lander won the June 23, 2026, Democratic primary for New York’s 10th Congressional District in a landslide against incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman, an Israel lobby funded Zionist. Lander, who is Jewish, made differences over Gaza policy central, calling the actions there a genocide, opposing unconditional military aid, and rejecting AIPAC donations, was heavily targeted by the Pro-Israel lobby. The race centered heavily on the Israel-Gaza issue in a deeply Jewish district.

Chris Rabb won the May 19, 2026, Democratic primary for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District, a deep-blue open seat in Philadelphia. The progressive Pennsylvania state representative was the most outspoken in calling Israel’s actions in Gaza a genocide and demanding an end to U.S. military aid to Israel. He faced establishment opposition tied to pro-Israel groups and AIPAC.

These candidates’ successes reveal the power of grassroots mobilization against the genocide and the lengths to which opposing forces went to target voices of conscience. Their personal experiences with backlash underscore the intensity of efforts to silence criticism of U.S. complicity in the devastation in Gaza. But it also shows, karma is a bitch.

As the House of Representatives grapples with procedural gridlock and competing priorities in late June 2026, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) remains at the center of efforts to reduce U.S. military assistance to Israel and block deeper integration of American and Israeli defense technologies.

I spoke with the longtime congressman about the status of his key amendments: one aimed at cutting $3.3 billion in funding on the FY2027 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act (often referred to as the NSRP or State-Foreign Operations bill), and another to strike Section 219 from the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA, H.R. 8800).

Me: Good morning. Will you be making an announcement about your amendment to cut $3.3 billion in Israel funding? I’m trying to raise awareness and support, but I think folks will get energized once they hear it from you.

Rep. Thomas Massie: “Yes, but an interesting thing has happened…

The Rules Committee decided to allow it to get a vote because they need my vote for the rule in order for everything to proceed. That’s a huge win.

However, some lawmakers have taken the rule hostage to try to force the Senate to pass the SAVE Act, so the House is stalled this week. We are sitting here doing nothing. If a deal is cut, the rule will come to the floor and pass, which paves the way for the State Department Appropriations bill and therefore my amendment to get a vote.

Boiling this all down, I’m waiting to see if the Speaker recesses the House for the week (for three weeks?), or whether we proceed with the business of voting on these things this week. That call by the Speaker will likely be made by the end of the day today.

Also, if this all moves forward, I will be allowed to debate my amendment on the floor - 5 minutes per side.

That could happen as early as this evening/afternoon, or as late as never.”

Massie shared the relevant House Rules Committee resolution (H. Res. covering H.R. 1181, H.R. 9022, H.R. 8595, and H.R. 9237), which provides a structured rule for floor consideration of the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2027 (H.R. 8595). This bill includes his amendment to reduce Foreign Military Financing for Israel by $3.3 billion, along with other proposed changes to foreign aid accounts.

He emphasized that the current procedural fight is unrelated to the Senate Intelligence reauthorization or the House NDAA’s Section 219.

On the NDAA Amendment

To muddy the waters further, the NDAA (with Section 219) was scheduled for a vote this week but was removed from consideration. Massie, along with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), submitted an amendment to strike Section 219 (previously numbered 224), which would establish a “United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative” and significantly expand integration of U.S. and Israeli military technologies and defense industrial bases.

Massie has described the provision as moving beyond traditional allied cooperation into deeper synchronization of the two countries’ militaries, while reaffirming “We are a sovereign country.”

However, none of that is in play right now because House leadership decided to focus on passing the State Department Appropriations bill this week instead.

we must put party politics aside and support the efforts.

Intelligence sharing should be transactional, conditional, and strictly limited to direct U.S. national security benefits. Codifying a blanket shall-expand-mandate removes leverage and turns sharing into an entitlement.

2. The Qualitative Military Edge (QME) Mandate in Intelligence Law
Section 622 explicitly declares U.S. policy to structure security assistance and defense cooperation to help Israel maintain its qualitative military edge consistent with U.S. law. Placing this longstanding policy slogan into an intelligence authorization bill is not boilerplate. It is strategic. It links intelligence flows directly to the broader aid pipeline and signals that America’s intel community must operate with Israel’s military superiority as a guiding objective.

Sovereignty rejects the idea that U.S. policy must guarantee any foreign country’s perpetual military dominance in its region. Embedding it here makes it harder to ever revisit these subsidies, particularly, since both chambers of Congress have introduced multiple bills which pivot the U.S.-Israel relationship from straightforward military handouts to fully integrated so-called “cooperative” research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) in U.S. bleeding-edge fields like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, robotics, and automation. If these bills become law, this brazen heist of U.S. technological supremacy in domains where America outpaces rivals like China, will be gifted to a nation with a documented history of espionage against U.S. industry and government and repackaging of U.S. technology as Israel innovation under the auspices of programs funded by the U.S. taxpayer.

3. Severe Restrictions on Reducing or Limiting Sharing
Perhaps the most anti-sovereign provision states that intelligence sharing with Israel cannot be suspended, reduced, or materially limited except on the basis of a specific and identifiable national security concern (for example, sources methods protection or counterintelligence risk). Any such decision must be personally documented by the President with a detailed rationale.

This is a direct assault on America’s sovereignty. Future administrations, whether concerned about Israeli spying on the U.S. (a documented historical issue), Israeli actions that harm U.S. interests, or simply the need to reallocate resources toward China, will face statutory hurdles and presumptive pressure to maintain maximum sharing. Sovereignty means the U.S. retains unilateral control over its own intelligence product. This language flips that: cooperation is the default. Restraint requires extraordinary justification. It binds future Congresses and Presidents to put the interests of Israel before the U.S.

4. Forced Expansion to Abraham Accords Countries

5. Heavy Congressional Notification Requirements That Favor Continuity
Any material change in sharing triggers a 15-day notification to intelligence committees including detailed justifications, impact assessments on Israel and regional partners, and effects on integrated defense systems. Annual reports for five years must track categories of intelligence shared, progress on regional integration, and any barriers to deeper cooperation.

While oversight sounds good, the structure is one-sided. It creates bureaucratic and political friction, primarily around reductions while encouraging ever greater integration. This tilts the scales toward permanent entanglement rather than prudent interest-based adjustments.

Congress Should Strip Section 622 Entirely

She claims she was approached through a well-known “America First Christian” intermediary to ghostwrite scripts for AI-generated videos. These videos, she says, were intended to be produced through VFT to give the appearance of independent content rather than official White House or National Security Council output. She was subsequently provided with a Dropbox containing internal VFT documents, polling data, and strategy memos.

The thread portrays VFT as operating in the shadows to shape Trump administration messaging and counter dissenting conservative voices while maintaining plausible deniability by avoiding direct government branding. The reports specifically cite conservative influencer Nick Shirley as the example of how to execute this operation while giving the public the impression that this is independent reporting and not Israel aligned government propaganda. Multiple screenshots of internal reports are included as supporting evidence.

Vine and Fig Tree (VFT)

Vine and Fig Tree operates through two tightly linked 501(c)(3) nonprofits incorporated in New York in 2024. The Vine and Fig Tree Institute I quickly raised $3 million in its first year, almost entirely from undisclosed philanthropic donors. It then funneled $850,000 into its sister entity, the Vine and Fig Tree Fund, which acts as the grantmaking arm. In just one year, the Fund handed out major sums including $250,000 to the Combat Hate Foundation, $100,000 each to Merona Leadership Foundation and The Giving Back Fund, and additional grants to aligned groups. Both organizations claim zero employees, raising questions about how such large sums are being moved with minimal overhead to influence American discourse.

The group’s name and branding are overtly rooted in Jewish scripture, drawn from Micah 4:4, “every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid”, a verse long associated with Jewish national restoration and security in the land of Israel. Their archived 1-page website prominently displays this biblical imagery while attempting to tie it to George Washington’s letters. This is classic dual signaling. To pro-Israel Jewish audiences, it clearly evokes Zionist themes of Jewish safety and control. To Christian Zionists, it cloaks Israeli advocacy in familiar American and Judeo-Christian language. In reality, it serves as sophisticated branding to launder foreign-aligned priorities, putting Israeli security concerns and censorship via the IHRA definition of antisemitism ahead of America First interests while wrapping itself in the American flag.

Zach Schapira’s Central Role

One of the key figures producing Vine & Fig Tree’s reports is Zach Schapira, a former Twitter/X executive (@zachschapira) who allegedly worked in Trust & Safety operations and product roles through 2025. Schapira also served as a commander in the Israel Defense Force (IDF). Internal VFT documents list him as the contact zs@vft.institute on intelligence briefs. In an April 2025 VFT “Intelligence Brief” titled “Foreign Malign Influence (FMI) Targeting the Trump Administration’s Policy & Personnel,” Schapira is directly tied to the analysis.

In a recent opinion article for the Washington Post, Schapira praised X’s “About this account” feature as a step toward “digital borders” while pushing for platforms to prioritize “authentic domestic content,” downrank suspicious accounts, and work with the U.S. government to treat foreign influence as a national security issue. This mirrors the exact monitoring and labeling tactics found in the leaked VFT documents he helps produce, reframing legitimate America First criticism of endless foreign aid and Israeli influence as dangerous foreign interference.

From an America First perspective, Schapira exemplifies the problem: a former senior Twitter/X official and IDF commander now working through a pro-Israel nonprofit to monitor, smear, and counter American citizens who prioritize U.S. interests over Israel’s. His work consistently seeks to equate dissent from pro-Israel policies with foreign subversion, using the IHRA definition of antisemitism as a tool to suppress domestic debate.

Emily Austin Connection

Notably, the interviewer Emily Austin has deep ties to Israel. In a separate interview with Anna Kasparian, Austin discussed her influence work on behalf of Israel and addressed questions about foreign agent registration. Austin also previously worked for the UN Permanent Mission of Israel and attended the Israel Influencer meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu in September 2025 where he famously stated conservative opposition to Israel comes from the “Woke Reich” and the most important battle in the US is on social media.

VFT Partnership with NCRI

VFT reportedly partners with Joel Finkelstein’s Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), an Israeli-managed/funded NGO operating in the United States. NCRI’s board includes Israel’s former Chief Censor, Gen. Sima Vaknin Gill. The group is known for so called “hate speech” monitoring using the IHRA definition of antisemitism and has produced highly questionable reports such as:

Congressional committees have cited NCRI’s work in legislation and hearings. The former Israel Minister of Strategic Affairs, Natan Sharansky, is on record bragging that the joint report produced by NCRI and ISGAP (another Israeli managed and funded NGO) were behind the antisemitism hearings in the House of Representatives in 2024.

Note on Antisemitism Definition: All of the entities referenced including VFT, Zach Schapira’s organizations, NCRI, and associated figures use the IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) working definition of antisemitism, which includes examples that equate criticism of Israel or Israeli policy with antisemitism. The Trump administration has adopted this definition as public policy via Executive Order 13899 and 14188.

VFT and White House Counter Terrorism Strategy

The recently published White House Counterterrorism Strategy is relatively restrained on domestic issues and focuses on foreign/cartel threats which aligns with core America First priorities.

However, the VFT documents reveal a shadow effort to expand the definition of “foreign malign influence” to include legitimate conservative skepticism of Israeli influence, foreign aid, and endless Middle East entanglement. Zach Schapira and VFT are attempting to insert pro-Israel narrative policing into the broader “counter-foreign influence” umbrella that the White House strategy endorses.

While the Strategy warns against politicized domestic surveillance, VFT’s leaked materials show using national security language to monitor and counter America First voices who challenge pro-Israel policies. This creates a classic “public restraint vs. private expansion” dynamic common in influence operations.

VFT’s effort mirrors Project Esther which outlined a similar agenda to define “foreign malign influence” to include legitimate criticism within the American left of Israeli influence, foreign aid to Israel, and the Gaza genocide. Project Esther was produced by the Heritage Foundation but it relied heavily on data from Israel and Pro-Israel NGOs such as NCRI, ISGAP, ADL and Canary Mission. Similar to VFT, it claimed “the virulently anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, and anti-American groups comprising the so-called pro-Palestine movement inside the United States are exclusively pro-Palestine and more so pro-Hamas. They are part of a highly organized, global Hamas Support Network (HSN) and therefore effectively a terrorist support network.”

• Tactics discussed include undermining targets’ Christian credibility, recruiting mainstream conservatives such as Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles to amplify VFT messaging, using burner accounts, AI videos, troll briefs, and audience segmentation, and recommending the use of the Israel funded and managed NCRI for hate speech monitoring and counter-influence efforts.

• One memo advises politicians that the GOP consists of “two wings” that do not overlap and recommends steering toward the “majority” side for re-election, including polling data on JD Vance’s 2028 prospects.

Takeaway

An Israel-aligned entity has developed a plan to target American conservative skepticism of Israel influence, foreign aid, and endless Middle East entanglement as “foreign malign influence” operations from Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and China. In other words, a foreign country is working with the White House to label conservatives as foreign actors.

In March 2025, I posted on X explaining that the claims of cutting USAID were untrue. In reality, it was getting reorganized into State Department where aid programs were cut and PsyOp programs were transitioning to State Department where they will be updated from old technology (radio/TV PsyOp) to new technology (Social Media).

Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered ALL U.S. embassies to run coordinated campaigns against “anti-American propaganda”, recruiting local influencers to make it look organic, teaming with Pentagon psy-ops units, and pushing X and Community Notes as the weapon.

This ties directly into the broader Department of War (DoW) PsyOp apparatus, with key players like Tulsi Gabbard, who stepped into a role (Director of National Intelligence heading the 18-member U.S. Intelligence Community which includes DoW and State Department) that expand psychological operations, including on the homeland via social media influence. In February of 2025, I wrote a long thread on X outlining Gabbard’s long history with psychological operations and how her appointment as DNI created a new front for PsyOp on the homeland.

Don’t We have Laws to Protect Us?

The original Smith-Mundt act prohibited US government intelligence operations in the homeland, however, the 2013 Amendment to the Smith-Mundt Act created loopholes for use of PsyOp on the homeland. Rubio’s directive appears to operate under the 2013 Amended Smith-Mundt Act where US social media users will be impacted since the platform barriers (foreign language TV & Radio) do not exist on social media.

Rubio’s memo claims this is an effort to dismantle foreign influence, but ironically, last year, the FBI had its foreign influence taskforce dissolved by Pam Bondi and the State Department shuttered the Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference hub.

This dismantling of barriers that previously protected Americans (at least on paper) is augmented by a parallel initiative to target Americans under the guise of foreign influence based on hearsay instead of evidence. In fact, the same State Department head who is in charge of Rubio’s PsyOp effort, Sarah B Rogers, previously issued a report to Congress claiming Code Pink and several other American leftwing anti-war activist organizations were part of Chinese influence operations inside the U.S.

Last year’s USAID events were not cuts or dismantling. It was an evolution of the machine into full-spectrum social media control, merging old broadcast tools with modern Department of War-style PsyOps where Americans are consumers and targets of government PsyOp.

Given the timeline of events and Pakistan’s ongoing severe economic difficulties, this declaration of war with Afghanistan appears designed to reopen the flow of U.S. aid to Pakistan, similar to the substantial support it received during the 1980s and early 2000s. Let’s look at the details.

Pakistan has been grappling with a severe economic crisis since around 2020. This downturn coincided closely with the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 and the subsequent sharp reduction in American aid to Pakistan.

For two decades, from 2001 to 2021, Pakistan served as a critical staging ground and logistical hub for the U.S.-led war effort in Afghanistan. In exchange, it received substantial military and economic assistance from Washington, which helped bolster its economy and strategic position. The end of that large-scale U.S. presence dramatically reduced this financial lifeline, contributing to mounting pressures on Pakistan’s balance of payments, foreign reserves, and overall stability.

This pattern echoes Pakistan’s earlier experience in the 1980s, when it played a pivotal role in the U.S.-backed proxy war against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. During that conflict, Pakistan provided safe haven, training, and support to Afghan mujahideen fighters, channeling American and Saudi aid while hosting millions of refugees. That involvement brought significant U.S. assistance at the time, but the benefits proved temporary once Soviet forces withdrew in 1989, leaving Pakistan to manage the long-term consequences without sustained external support.

In both eras, Pakistan’s strategic alignment with U.S. objectives in Afghanistan delivered short-term gains through aid inflows, yet the eventual drawdown of American involvement exposed underlying economic vulnerabilities. These trends stem from prolonged economic mismanagement, flawed policy choices, stalled structural reforms, and inconsistent policymaking. IMF “stabilisation” measures, including subsidy removals, currency devaluation, energy price increases, and higher taxation have intensified inflationary pressures that have outpaced income growth and significantly eroded purchasing power.

However, much like an addicted substance abuser, Pakistan seeks a return of U.S. aid via renewed wars rather than address its internal challenges, independently. When its former Prime Minister sought to reform Pakistan, he was voted out of office and imprisoned.

The Hustle

In a lobbying document filed in 2025 with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, Pakistan urged American officials to work with Islamabad in retrieving or neutralizing weapons left behind in Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrawal. The language in the filing echoed Pakistan’s post-2001 positioning as a key ally in the U.S.-led war on terror, a role that previously secured billions in military and financial aid for Pakistan while Afghanistan endured the brunt of the war’s human and political toll.

By framing the abandoned weapons as a pressing counterterrorism threat, Pakistan appears to be seeking to revive security cooperation with Washington, including intelligence sharing, military engagement, political influence, and renewed financial and strategic benefits. Rather than confronting its domestic militancy issues directly, Islamabad is attempting to portray its internal security challenges as originating from Afghanistan and thus a shared problem for the United States.

Afghanistan’s Regional Ties with Iran and China Create an Opportunity for Pakistan

Afghanistan’s deepening ties with Iran and China present a strategic opening for Pakistan to strengthen its position as a vital U.S. partner, particularly in any potential U.S.-Iran conflict and in the broader long-term strategic competition with China.

Recent statements from the Taliban highlight Afghanistan’s alignment with Iran amid escalating U.S.-Iran tensions. On February 16, 2026, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid, in an interview with Iran’s Pashto-language radio service, indicated that Afghans would be prepared to offer cooperation, sympathy, or humanitarian support to Iran and its people if the United States launched an attack. He emphasized that the Taliban prefers peace, favors successful indirect talks between the U.S. and Iran, and framed any assistance as limited, likely humanitarian or supportive rather than direct military involvement. Mujahid also referenced Iran’s resilience, noting its perceived victory in a prior short conflict and its capability to prevail again. This rhetoric signals Afghanistan’s willingness to stand in solidarity with Iran against perceived U.S. aggression, even if cautiously worded to avoid full commitment.

Afghanistan and China Cooperation

At the same time, Afghanistan has become an increasingly attractive partner for China, especially in the resource-rich mining sector. During the U.S.-led presence in Afghanistan, efforts to stabilize the country for mineral extraction largely failed. Now, under Taliban rule since 2021, China has stepped in aggressively. Beijing provides duty-free access for 98% of Afghan exports, pursues investments in lithium, copper, iron, and other critical minerals, and seeks to integrate Afghanistan into its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Recent high-level talks, including those in 2025, have focused on expanding trade, infrastructure, humanitarian aid, and practical mining operations despite ongoing security challenges. These developments position Afghanistan as a key node in China’s resource security strategy and global connectivity ambitions.

For Pakistan, this regional dynamic creates leverage where Pakistan can credibly argue to Washington that it remains indispensable in countering threats in the region. In a hypothetical U.S.-Iran war, Pakistan’s role in “fighting terrorism” in Afghanistan (including containing any spillover or jihadist elements that could complicate U.S. operations) effectively serves American interests by helping isolate or pressure Iran indirectly. Similarly, in the U.S.’s long-term strategic rivalry with China, Pakistan’s position allows it to monitor and potentially disrupt Beijing’s expanding footprint in Afghanistan from mining deals to BRI integration.

This positioning echoes familiar patterns: Pakistan, much like Israel in the Middle East, can frame its security contributions as aligned with U.S. priorities against shared adversaries. By emphasizing its frontline role against instability emanating from Afghanistan, now tilting toward Iran and China, Pakistan strengthens the case for renewed strategic partnership, aid, and cooperation with the United States.

Manufacturing the War

On February 22, Pakistan carried out airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan under the claim of fighting terrorism. Afghan sources described the attack as resulting in civilian deaths, including the near-total loss of one family of 18 members in Nangarhar province, with only a few survivors.

On February 27, Afghanistan launched a counteroffensive, claiming to have captured nine Pakistani military outposts along the border. With its own personnel present at the fallen bases, the Pakistani military could not conduct airstrikes directly on those positions. Instead, Pakistan responded with airstrikes on targets in Kabul and other areas, prompting Pakistan’s defense minister to declare an open war with Afghanistan.

Mission accomplished on creating the war. Now, Pakistan will come to the US for financial aid.

The Universal Law of Game Theory as discussed by historian and geopolitical theorist, Professor Jiang Xueqin, analyzes the global rise of Christian Zionism, a theological movement which asserts the modern and secular state of Israel fulfills biblical prophecies about the return of Jews to the Holy Land, paving the way for the 2nd Coming of Christ. The study examines how Christian Zionism which diverges from traditional Christianity by prioritizing Jewish restoration over universal salvation, achieved significant geopolitical influence, particularly in the U.S., by optimizing the three variables of game theory to achieve power.

The Universal Law of Game Theory defines power as the product of:

1. Mass (resources, population)

2. Energy (motivation, innovation), and

3. Coordination (unified action).

(Power = Mass x Energy x Coordination)

Jiang uses this theory to explain how Christian Zionism transformed from a marginal theology to a force shaping U.S. foreign policy and the global evangelical movement.

1. Mass

Christian Zionism began with limited mass in the 1830s under John Nelson Darby’s dispensationalist theology, confined to small British congregations. It spread to the U.S. via the Scofield Bible in 1909 expanding its reach and growing to 50 million American evangelicals by the 1980s. Organizations like Christians United for Israel (CUFI), with over 10 million members by 2024, and access to media networks like Daystar and Salem Media Group as well as political lobbies, significantly increased its mass. Per the law of game theory, this provided the raw potential for influence, though it required activation through energy.

2. Energy

The movement’s energy stemmed from apocalyptic theology, interpreting Israel’s 1948 establishment and the 1967 Six-Day War as divine fulfillments of prophecy. This fueled intense activism, amplified by Cold War anti-communism and televangelists like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Hal Lindsey’s book, “The Late Great Planet Earth” (1970) about the return of Jesus Christ, selling 28 million copies, sustained this fervor. Ronald Reagan, a believer in end-times prophecy, reflected this energy, reportedly discussing Armageddon in policy contexts, reinforcing pro-Israel stances. Jiang highlights energy as the force converting mass into action, though it risks dissipation without structure and coordination.

3. Coordination

The most important and decisive factor is coordination. A shared end-times narrative unified evangelicals, politicians, and donors into a cohesive force, akin to Jiang’s “superorganism.” Groups like the Moral Majority and CUFI aligned efforts, securing $3.8 billion in annual U.S. aid to Israel and influencing policy through disciplined messaging. In contrast, rivals like Palestinian advocacy groups often lacked comparable unity, resulting in lower power output despite significant mass and energy. Jiang’s law underscores coordination as the critical multiplier.

Summary

Christian Zionism’s rise exemplifies the Universal Law of Game Theory. Its initially modest mass was amplified by high energy (prophetic conviction) and exceptional coordination (unified theology and lobbying). This enabled disproportionate influence, embedding pro-Israel policies in U.S. politics and exporting the ideology globally through evangelical networks in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Today, this juggernaut is beginning to lose power. Weaknesses include declining energy among younger generations and risks of coordination fractures due to theological or political disputes as a result of the war in Gaza, mass awareness of Israel’s influence in American politics as well as the U.S.’s own economic and geopolitical standing in the world. As mass, energy and coordination decline, it could reduce power to zero per the equation. This risk provides a better understanding of Israel’s hyper-focus on indoctrinating Christian Zionists and their younger Gen Z cohort.
